The 9 months batch of Good
Shepherd Finishing School attended a draping workshop on 28 February, 2014. The
48 students were divided into two groups and were taught the basics and details
of garment draping. This was the first step in the preparation for their
upcoming Fashion Show.
The Workshop was conducted by Ms.
Manopriya and Ms. Mahua Chakraborthy of the Fashion Designing Department.
Students got to experiment with various draping styles on the mannequins made
available at the Fashion Department. By the end of the workshop every student
got to drape their own design on the mannequins, which made them more confident
and enthusiastic in appearing for the competition.
