Es el reino de los cielos a los pies de la Madré. Heaven is at the feet of the Mother.
Indeed! “Sometimes when you pick up your child you can feel the map
of your own bones beneath your hands, or smell the scent of your skin in the
nape of his neck. This is the most extraordinary thing about motherhood -
finding a piece of yourself separate and apart that all the same you could not
live without.”
This
is the tender but strong bond that a mother has with her child. And this idea was
magnificently put forth by the 3 Months Batch Students, through their heart-touching storyline of a
girl named ‘Reshmi’ who grows up to be a caring mother, after being a ‘typical’
carefree teenager. Filled with beautiful dances and songs, the audience
was moved to tears after the depiction of how we never appreciate a mother when
she is with us, but when we are on our own every single thing reminds us of how
we were pampered by her.
The
emotional tears were then turned to tears of laughter as the program wound up
with a Mock News bulletin informing us about ‘happenings’ at GSFS, which was
greeted by a delighted audience with standing ovations!
The talent
and the Organizing Skills of the Students amazed the audience.
It was
indeed a night filled with talents!
Kuddos to the 3 Months Batch!!
