The evening of 4 September,
2013 saw the students of the Good Shepherd Finishing School sitting in teams,
awaiting the beginning of Phase I of their workshop on Team Work Skills. The
session was conducted by Ms. Neetha Nataraj-Dean, Good Shepherd Finishing
School. The hall was filled with activity as the students discussed various
strategies in teams to tackle communication hindrances – an activity that was a
part of the workshop.
“Alone we can do so little, together we can do
so much” – Helen Keller
This was one of the lessons learnt, as the
students were taught the importance of working as a team in an organisation,
achieving the set goal and moving on. The students were able to place
themselves according to their character; they were able to analyze themselves
through various tests. It was an interactive session and the students
understood the basics of being a good team member and how to use their
strengths to contribute to a successful outcome.
