Disaster, though not desirable, is a part of life. It is necessary to be
trained in disaster management of kinds such as medical, fire, terrorist
attacks and so on. The students at Good Shepherd Finishing School were trained
in disaster management to be qualified Disaster Recovery Representatives
(DRR’S).
The theory and practical sessions in fire fighting and the two
evacuation programmes enabled the students to learn and practice the drills to
deal with emergency situations as mentioned above. The resource person Mr.
Srikumar of Infernotech trains companies such as Infosys on this
subject.
