The students of the Finishing School visited National Institute of Fashion Technology, Tirupur, College of Knitwear and Fashion and the textile export manufacturing unit at Prachi exports, Tirupur. This visit was part of the Certificate Program for Fashion Design. The line production of collared T – shirts in knitted fabric, complete T-shirt production and its packing was observed by the students. A session on draping various types of fabrics by the faculty at National Institute of Fashion Technology helped the students to comprehend its minutiae. The visit to the garment construction lab and the drafting lab added to the awareness on the subject of the students.
