Examinations for the certification on Fashion Design was conducted on 10 and 11 March, 2012. Representatives from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Tirupur, Tamil Nadu conducted the theory and practical examinations on the subjects; Fashion Designing and Illustration, Pattern and Garment Construction and Surface Ornamentation.
