Good Shepherd Finishing School: GSFS Batch 2011-2012 Graduation Day

The Batch 2011-2012 of Good Shepherd Finishing School graduated on 28 April, 2012.The chief guest Ms. Ronita Italia Dhanu , Editor - Good Homes presented the graduation certificates and the special awards.

Ms Ronita Dhanu informed the students on the importance of loving oneself and making time for one self. The event was made special with the release of the Finishing School journal, ‘La Femme’ Volume 6 . The day saw the coy, shy girls transformed into elegant and smart ladies to reinstate the maxim of the school, ‘Give us a girl and Take back a lady!’

The Principal of the Finishing School, Mrs. Elsamma Thomas in her welcome note appreciated the out going batch on their exemplary performance. The valedictorians shared their experiences and life at the school and on how it helped to mould them to become smart ladies. Ms Ayushi Jain expressed the gratitude of the batch towards the school and the faculty members. Ms Vibhuti Jain spoke about the curriculum of GSFS that helped them to achieve their goals. Ms Nalini. S. Pai shared the importance of evaluations, activities and lighter moments experienced at the school.

The chief guest presented the shield to the ‘Best House’ bagged by the house ‘Elegance’.

The 9 month course of the Finishing School which commenced on 24 July 2011 came to a close on 28 April 2012. The batch was trained in Business English, French language and Fashion Design apart from the regular sessions. They received certificates from Cambridge University for Business English, from Alliance Francaise for French and from National Institute of Fashion Technology for Fashion Design.

The ninth batch of Good Shepherd Finishing School passed on the legacy of the school to the next batches.
