The students of the 9 months’ batch took part in the Solar Cooking workshop conducted by Mrs. Vidya Srinivas – a journalist, freelance writer and television news producer who has done her Master’s in Geography.
Fascinated by the solar water heaters during her stay at Kotagiri, made her explore solar cooking and that encouraged her to spread among others the use of renewable energy in cook food.
Our students were given an opportunity to explore the solar cooking concept under her guidance.
