Cooking is an art, science and craft of preparing food for consumption. It tastes better when prepared with love and care.
The Students of the 3 months’ batch enjoyed cooking which is taught as a part of their Food and Beverage curriculum facilitated Chef Udaya Sankar. They experimented cooking with different technique and it started with soups and salads. Soup is a liquid food generally served warm or hot. Soup is made by combining vegetables or meat with water. Salad is basically a dish with mixture of small pieces of food, usually vegetables or fruits. They are served at any point during a meal at room temperature.
Their skill sets and creativity were put up on test. The objectives highlighted through this event were time management, team spirit, skills to work with deadlines, with poise and grace.
