“THE BEST VIEW COMES AFTER THE HARDEST CLIMB”
The students of the 9 months’ batch experienced the joy of mountaineering and camping from 29th August, 2019 to 2nd September, 2019. They learnt and enjoyed hiking, trekking, anchoring and rappelling as a part of the mountaineering curriculum including an overnight stay in tents at GSIS Shepherds Farm, Gudalur.
The girls were taught to set up a tent and different tying techniques which includes Thumb knot or safety knot, Double safety knot, Figure of eight knot, Sheet bend knot, Fisherman knot and Clove hitch.
The Students did learn about life skills, made dinner and participated in team building games...
