The students of the 3 months batch of Good Shepherd Finishing School attended the Ball Room Dance Workshop. It was an opportunity to shake a leg with the Jive and Salsa of Contemporary styles. This was welcomed with enthusiasm as it went out of their normal routine.
The workshop was conducted by Ms. Jeevitha, a professional western dancer and teacher. Initially, some students felt shy about dancing but as the day progressed, all the students felt thoroughly accomplished as they succeeded in tapping their feet in perfect rhythm to the music, pulling, lifting, and sliding with complicated maneuvers. This continued to the second day which ended with a Jive and Salsa competition to pick out the best dancers of the batch.
